Commencement exercises were held at 2 p.m. May 18 at Abbotsford High School.

The class flower is the white rose with sparkles and the school colors are black, red and white. The class song is "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. The class motto is "It's a magical world ... let's go exploring." - Bill Waterson

Class officers are Marshal Kocian, president; Chelsea Bunkelman, vice president; Tana Thomas, treasurer; and Mariah Venzke, secretary. Class advisors are Lori Dassow, Becky Ruesch, Lucas Barth, Toni Novak and James Rickard.

The top 20 percent of the graduating class includes (name of student and respective parents): Chelsea Bunkelman - Joseph and Lois Bunkelman; Tana Thomas - Gary and Carla Thomas; Elizabeth Beran - Robin and Debra Beran; Emily Schraufnagel - Gary and Kari Schraufnagel; Jesse Maki - James and Carol Maki; Kelsey Bunkelman - Joseph and Lois Bunkelman; Desirae Marcott - Kevin and Susan Marcott; Mariah Venzke - Bennie and Julie Venzke; Kimberly Lecheler - Larry and Penny Lecheler; Laura Kneifl - Alan and Julie Kneifl; and Gunner Clay - Mary Kilty.

Valedictorians are Tana Thomas and Chelsea Bunkelman. They both earned a 3.994 GPA. Salutatorian is Elizabeth Beran. She earned a 3.987 GPA.

Tana Thomas participated in numerous extracurricular and volunteer activities. Among her accomplishments are leadership roles as National Honor Society president, band, choir, Student Senate treasurer, FBLA treasurer, and Class of 2013 treasurer. She also participated in Show Choir, Jazz Band, Honors Band, volleyball, club volleyball and basketball. Sheplans to attend University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, majoring in English.

Chelsea Bunkelman participated in numerous extracurricular and volunteer activities. Among her accomplishments are leadership roles as National Honor Society vice president, band, Student Senate vice president, Class of 2013 vice president and FBLA president. She also participated in Jazz Band cross country, and Mini Business World.She plans to attend UW-Stout for graphic design.

Elizabeth Beran has participated in various organizations and extracurricular activities throughout high school. These include National Honor Society secretary, choir, Student Senate, FFA, Spanish Club vice president, and FBLA member. She also participated in volleyball, softball and basketball. She plans to attend UW-Stout.
