Commencement exercises for the Edgar High School class of 2013 get underway at 7 p.m. today, Friday, May 24 in the high school gymnasium.

Valedictorians are Kara Dittman, Holly Denfeld and Madeline Hiebl.

Class officers are Samuel Hillman, president; Holly Denfeld, vice president and secretary; and Tyler Kirsch, treasurer.

The class motto is "We have come a long way, but not half as far as we will go." The class song is "Home" by Phillip Phillips. The class flower is the green-tinted orchid and the class colors are green and silver.

Presentation of diplomas and scholarships will be by Dave Brandvold, district administrator; Jordan Sinz, dean of students; Brooke Davis, guidance counselor; and members of the board of education.
