Graduation ceremonies begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at the Neillsville High School Fieldhouse for the class of 2013.

Class colors are red and white and the class flower is the red-tipped white rose. The class motto is "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go." - Dr. Seuss

Class officers are Miles Voss, president; Jared Boon, vice president; Sarah Clough, secretary; and Kelsey Rueth, treasurer. Class advisors are Scott Bryant, Amy Gerhardt, Dean Glaze, Adam Kren, Randi Stanley and Sue Vornholt.

Principal Craig Ruskin will give the introduction. The valedictorian and salutatorian will both address the graduating class and guests.

The concert choir will sing "In My life" (words and music by John Lennon and Paul McCartney). The senior choir will sing "Thank You" (words and music by Jim Brickman and Victoria Shaw). The high school band will play "Sine Nomine" by Ralph Williams.

Valedictorian is Benjamin Kind, son of Pam Travis and Thomas Kind. He will attend University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall on a pre-med track. Salutatorian is Miles Voss, son of James and Dawn Voss. He plans to attend UW-Stevens Point, majoring in English education.

The remaining honor students include: Brooke Brekke, daughter of Timothy and Lynn Brecke; Sarah Clough, daughter of Daniel and Denise Clough; Haley Holger, daughter of Jon and Penny Holger; Kyle Klieforth, son of Jeffrey and Ann Klieforth; Caitlynne Naughton, daughter of David and Melanie Naughton; Lindsey Opelt, daughter of Douglas and Lori Opelt; Courtney Poeschel, daughter of William and Beverly Poeschel; Logan Poeschel, son of Dewey Poeschel and Lisa Krueger; Sarah Poeschel, daughter of William and Beverly Poeschel; Kelsey Rueth, daughter of Timothy and Jodi Rueth; Kaylene Sheikh, daughter of Shoaib and Christine Sheikh; Nicholas Thoma, son of Jeff and Sandy Thoma; Julie Venne, daughter of Robert and Karen Venne; and Allison Wegner, daughter of Jill Wegner and Bryan Wegner.

Presentation of diplomas will be by Principal Ruskin, and Dewey Poeschel, school board president.
