This week, the Spencer Fire Department was the focal point for celebrating EMS Week.

Monday night, with beautiful weather adding a warm touch, a couple hundred people made their way to the fire department. Activities started rolling at 5 p.m.

On hand were numerous booths and displays. One booth displayed the effects of a concussion while at another booth, people could find out about alcohol and drug recovery programs. ...
