A 53-year-old former Wisconsin Rapids man serving time in prison for burglary faces a homicide charge for the 2008 death of a Wisconsin Rapids man.

Fighting back tears and at times pausing to compose himself, the oldest brother of Dale R. Meister, a 35-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man who was shot to death more than five years ago, thanked the Police Department and other supporters Friday for their help in getting charges filed.
