D.C. Everest fishing team hosts event for disabled residents (with video)

About 100 people erupted in cheers when James Schramm caught the first fish of the day just 30 minutes into an outdoor fishing event hosted Friday by the D.C. Everest fishing team.

He caught a 12-ounce bass at the Kort Street boat landing on Lake Wausau, but had plans to catch many more throughout the day.

"It feels good," said James, a sophomore at D.C. Everest Senior High School. "It's pretty exciting." ...
