Dimka takes over East program

Wausau East didn't have to look far to find its next boys basketball coach.

Paul Dimka, a longtime assistant with both the Lumberjacks' basketball and football programs, was named Jason Teske's successor on Friday. Dimka was a member of Teske's coaching staff for all 12 years of Teske's tenure, and has 15 years experience with the program overall.

"He was outstanding in preparing for an opponent. He had his teams ready and he was always good at devising a plan and what he wanted to do against an opponent, and then relaying that to the kids," Dimka said of Teske, who stepped down at the end of this ...
