Wisconsin Rapids Police

At 9:01 a.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported someone stole all the food from her house in the 1400 block of 29th Avenue South.

At 1:10 p.m. Friday, an Auburndale woman reported an attempted sexual assault in Wisconsin Rapids.

At 2:52 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported someone cut the cable to the battery in her vehicle in the 4700 block of Eighth Street South.

At 3:31 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a fraudulent check.

At 3:48 p.m. Friday, an employee at West Side Express, 1040 W. Grand Ave., reported having video of someone stealing.

At 4:14 p.m. Friday, a Rudolph woman reported someone stole her son's backpack from the locker room at Wisconsin Rapids Area Middle School, 1921 27th Ave. S.

At 5:03 p.m. Friday, a caller reported someone stole a bicycle from the 1600 block of Lincoln Street.

At 5:20 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a man left his grandchildren with an unknown neighbor, and he was having emergency surgery. The children's mother also was in a hospital. Authorities found the home, and the father got the children.

At 5:36 p.m. Friday, an employee at Walmart, 4331 Eighth St. S., reported a theft.

At 5:49 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported her neighbors were damaging her fence in the 1100 block of 16th Street North.

At 7:38 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 100 block of 18th Avenue South.

At 7:55 p.m. Friday, a caller reported receiving text messages threatening to beat him up.

At 11:19 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported someone trying to get into a residence in the 1100 block of Baker Street.

At 4:27 a.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported a man was sleeping in his child's bed in a home in the 300 block of Drake Street. Officers arrested the intruder. The child was not in the bed at the time, and authorities believe the man in the bed, who lives in the neighborhood, mistakenly went to the wrong house.

At 8:44 a.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported someone stole prescription medications and money from the 1400 block of 23rd Avenue South.

At 9:41 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a 16-year-old girl was refusing to listen to her father.

At 10:16 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a two-vehicle crash in the 2100 block of Eighth Street South.

Marshfield Police

A 28-year-old Marshfield man was arrested at 3:18 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of South Peach Avenue for a probation violation. He was booked and transported to Wood County Jail.

Marshfield fire, ambulance reports

Firefighters responded at 2:04 p.m. Friday to a report of a gas leak in the 200 block of North Maple Avenue.

Ambulances responded Friday to two medical emergencies.
