Greenwood Elementary School

The first-, second- and third-grade Greenwood Elementary School students presented the musical "Hats" on May 17 in the school library. Hats of all shapes and sizes took over the stage.

Sixth-grade students Kinsey Kitzhaber, Hannah Elmer, Zena Thomas, Abigail Kirchner, Cole Zimbauer and Trenton Klabon attended College Days for Kids at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Greenwood High School

Greenwood High School students in the anatomy and physiology classes as well as medical terminology classes took a field trip in April to the Science Museum of Minnesota to view the Body Worlds exhibit. Another group of students traveled April 19 to the Engineering Expo at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Attending the State Solo/Ensemble in May were Olivia Gregorich, Lindsay Simboli, Dalton Kaetterhenry, Meagan Cramer, Elynor Gregorich and Rachel Esselman.

Hoosier School of Basketball

Loyal High School will host the Hoosier School of Basketball June 9 to 14. An advanced camp will be offered June 17 to 19 at Neillsville High School. The camp is directed by Woody Wilson. Marshfield High School

U.S. Congressman Sean Duffyhosted an awards reception to congratulate the 7th District's winners of the 32nd annual Congressional Art Competition. In his remarks at the event, he thanked the community for showing their support and urged the artists to continue to follow their passions Gabrielle Swanson was awarded the grand prize in this year's competition. Her work, "Lost Puppy" will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year. Swanson is a senior at Marshfield High School.
