Memorial Day events in the Green Bay area on Monday. ALLOUEZ

A Soldier's Remembrance: Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers ceremony: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Heritage Hill State Historical Park, 2640 S. Webster Ave. Flag ceremony, placing of wreaths, rifle squads from Allouez Post 11. 10 a.m. ceremony is free. Fee to enter the park for additional events, including re-enactment of soldiers and their families dressed in period clothing. $9 adults, $8 seniors (older than 62), $7 ages 4-17, free younger than 3. Memorial Day Mass: 10:30 a.m., Allouez Chapel Mausoleum, 2121 Riverside Drive. Followed by a veterans recognition ceremony at the chapel's Veterans Wall of Honor. (920) 432-7585.

ASHWAUBENON

Memorial Day service: 11 a.m., VFW Park, 1292 Cormier Road. Speakers, rifle squad, flag raising. (920) 655-8577.

Open House: 11:30 a.m., Ashwaubenon Historical Society Museum, 737 Cormier Road. Public welcome. (920) 983-0353.

BELLEVUE

Military honor ceremony: After 9 a.m. service, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Bellevue VFW Post 9677 visits cemeteries at Potters Field, Bay Settlement, Holy Martyrs of Gorcum and Pine Grove Lutheran. Ceremonial readings and rifle salute. Lunch served after a memorial service at the VFW Clubhouse, 3323 Kewaunee Road. Public invited. Al Jauquet, (920) 360-4440.

DE PERE

Memorial Day ceremony and parade: 10 a.m., parade begins in front of West De Pere High School and ends at Voyageur Park. The De Pere VFW will honor those who died for our country in a ceremony at Voyageur Park. (920) 676-3496.

GREEN BAY

Veterans Park ceremony: 8 a.m., next to Neville Public Museum of Brown County, 210 Museum Place. Honor Guard, rifle squad, bagpipers present the colors. Chaplain leads the prayer and reading of the names. Public welcome. Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 224.

Memorial Day remembrance program: 11 a.m., Fort Howard Memorial Park, Veterans Field of Honor, 1350 N. Military Ave. Music, tributes to our military, balloon release. Guests encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. Public welcome. (920) 494-5465.

Memorial Day at the Garden: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Green Bay Botanical Garden, 2600 Larsen Road. All veterans admitted free. (920) 490-9457, www.gbbg.org.

United Patriotic Society ceremony: 4:30 p.m., Admiral Flatley Park, on the Fox River. Flag processional, tossing of wreaths and flowers into the water in remembrance of those who have died and a bell ceremony.
