A man was arrested Sunday after starting an argument and displaying a knife at a gas station on Green Bay's near west side.

Green Bay police apprehended the man at about 6 p.m. at Walnut Shell, 515 W. Walnut St. The man apparently confronted a woman and an argument began. The woman asked the man to leave, as did several customers and bystanders.

The man then displayed a knife, according to police. Several bystanders disarmed and subdued the man until police arrived. One of the bystanders sustained a minor injury and was treated.

The incident appears isolated, police said. The investigation continues.
