Alex Christensen, son of Jody and Gwen, is a top student at West De Pere High School. Alex has a 4.0 and a 33 on his ACT, making him statistically one of the No. 1 students in his class. Alex has proven himself in the classroom, while taking eight college credit classes (English, human anatomy and physiology and calculus as well as Advanced Placement courses (European history, physics, psychology, macro-economics, chemistry). He also excels in the athletic arena. Alex is a two-sport athlete, competing in hockey and soccer at the junior varsity and varsity levels. Despite the hours Alex dedicates to sports and academics, he also finds time to involve himself in various activities in our school and the De Pere community. He participates in French Club, Future Business Leaders of America and is a member of the Science Academic Team. In addition, Alex volunteers with the White Paws German Shepherd Rescue, De Pere Youth Hockey Association and the Streetlights Outreach Foundation. He also has a part-time job. Alex does everything right as he prepares for his next academic adventure. He will continue to challenge himself with rigor while participating in college and community events. Alex will pursue a degree in bio-chemistry at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
