Memorial Day long has marked my first round of golf each year. As part of a foursome, we gather up our mashies and niblicks and let loose on an unsuspecting course. A couple of the guys are overachievers, choosing to visit the driving range ahead of time. I prefer to loosen up all my joints and muscles and what not right there on the first tee box. Since my swing resembles an old woman trying to swat a squirrel with a mop, I don't think warming up ahead of time would be of much help anyway.
