Little Chute care center serves parents of special-needs children

Kimberly mom Jahata Primo's life changed when she enrolled her 8-year-old autistic son in Haven of Hope Day Care in Little Chute.

The special-needs day care provides a comfortable, trusting and reliable environment for Jelani, who was asked to leave his previous child care center because it was not equipped to care for him.

"These people have been angels from God. I can't express enough what they've done for us," said Primo, who said her son is nonverbal and can become aggressive toward people. "It just overwhelms me every time I talk about it. He's so comfortable there." ...
