Local students take honors in art and essay contest

The Wisconsin Troopers' Association has announced numerous students have placed in their annual statewide Art and Essay Contest.

An art entry titled "In the Air" submitted by Aaron Pospyhalla, a 10th-grade student of Cynthia Maly-Beranek at Stratford High School, was selected as a winner for this year's competition. He received a $125 check and certificate of award.
