Hospital chef dishes up Indian cuisine

Employees of Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital have frequently requested more vegetarian and ethnic food options in the hospital cafeteria, and until April, the food service team struggled to meet that need.

Then Idrees Khamusi, a chef who had several friends in Marshfield and was interested in moving to the city, contacted Saint Joseph's Hospital food and linen services director Renee Danhof about job opportunities.

"He did a food prep demonstration, and I thought he had really good options available, so I brought him on (the food service staff) as a casual employee," Danhof said. ...
