Prep baseball: Ashwaubenon rolling, looking to earn return trip to state

Ashwaubenon baseball coach Adam Kilp felt the time was right to have a team meeting.

It was after a particularly rough loss to Fox River Classic Conference foe Bay Port last month when the first-year skipper delivered a message.

"Flush everything that happened up to that point, everything that happened previously, disregard it and start new," Kilp said. "We had three weeks left in the season before regionals started. I had the kids all make a promise to each other and to the coaches, and the coaches make a promise to them, that every day we are going to get better. ...
