Kennedy Blahnik knew her third consecutive WIAA Division 3 state shot put title had already been won.

But that wasn't good enough for the Algoma junior at the state track and field meet on Friday.

With her final throw in the finals, Blahnik ripped off a toss of 49 feet, 1 inches to break the D3 record for a third straight season. ...
