Bonnie Draxler didn't take in her usual haul of gold at the WIAA state track and field meet Saturday.

Instead of leaving the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Memorial Field with two state championship medals around her neck for a third straight season, the Wrightstown junior was wearing three.

Draxler not only pulled off the three-peat in the Division 2 girls 400 meters and pole vault, but won the 100-meter dash for the first time in 12.57 seconds. ...
