School choice will help our kids

Education should always be a priority, and Gov. Scott Walker makes sure of that here in Wisconsin. Everyone should be on board where the future generation's education is at stake. I was blown away by the $475 million investment for public schools in Walker's budget. It is fantastic to know that the government cares just as much about our kids as we do.

That being said, Walker is also planning to give parents more say in where their child is educated through School Choice. The expansion of School Choice is also found in Walker's budget, which will allow parents to have more control over what kind of education their child is receiving. This is no light matter, since we should all have the means to partake in a quality education.

The needs of kids will be more properly met through the institution of School Choice throughout Wisconsin. The option to choose the best school for your child will be beneficial as we look to prepare our youth for the journey that awaits them.
