WIAA baseball: Spencer still proud after sectional loss

Rockets hitless in Westby victory

Spencer's lone senior, Kaleb Miller, might have been a little down after the Rockets baseball season ended Tuesday in a WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal game.

The Rockets' 13-1 no-hit loss to Westby halted their deep playoff run at Pickering Park, but Miller was proud of what his team accomplished this year.

"I couldn't have asked for anything more than to play with these guys everyday," Miller said with a smile. "Beating Pittsville and Neillsville in the regional tournament is something I'll keep with me for the rest of my life." ...
