Rain spoils Bays' doubleheader

Sturgeon Bay and Menominee, Mich., played four scoreless innings Saturday before the Legion baseball doubleheader was called off because of rain.

Bays starting pitcher Riley Cordier recorded all 14 Menominee outs on strikeouts when the opener was stopped with two outs in the top of the fifth inning. Cordier walked two batters.

The Bays are scheduled to play Thursday in the first round of the Kewaunee County Tournament.
