Zoo News: Successful sale, new babies, special events

The brat fry and bake sale at the Casco Rummage Sale was a resounding success. Even though the weather was a little cold, the burgers were great and the brats delicious. May was a very productive month for the Zoological Society, and we have no plans for that to stop in June.

? The Bruemmer Park Zoo welcomed several new babies this past month: Two golden pheasant chicks and five Arctic fox kits were born this past month. All babies are doing great and will be going to their new homes in about four weeks. We are still waiting for a baby deer to be born; the zookeeper says it will be any day now.
