Novak saluted for years of service

Mary Novak received a plaque and congratulations from the Kewaunee County Board on May 21 as she retired from her post as family living educator and department head of the county University of Wisconsin-Extension office.

"You made us learn more about what the UW-Extension can do for the county, and I think you left us with a great department," said Supervisor David Mayer, who chairs the board's Extension Education and Zoning Committee.

"It's a rare opportunity to have a career where you love to go to work every day and when you step in the office you can call it a privilege to be there," said Novak, ...
