"Summer slide' might sound like this year's hottest water park attraction, but it actually is the term used for the loss of reading skills many children experience during the three-month break from school. Fortunately, the Oshkosh Public Library has books, events and activities that can make reading a wild ride all its own.

The library's annual summer reading program goes underground this year, with themes that encourage children to Dig Into Reading; challenge teen s to look Beneath the Surface and entice adults with Groundbreaking Reads. Signup has begun and the Summer Reading Program ...
