What's best advice your dad gave you?

Dads have a way of putting things, be it frank or just funny, that tend to stick with you, whether it's a saying about the weather, advice about money, guidance on the opposite sex or life lessons in general. Those dad-isms you hear in your head.

Tell us the one piece of advice or saying that sticks out when you think of your dad, and we'll compile them for a Father's Day story that might teach us all a little something. Email them to kmeinert@pressgazettemedia.com with the subject line "Dads know best.'' Be sure to include your full name, city, and if you'd like, your father's name, too.

So far readers have checked in with fatherly advice on everything from golf swings to work ethics to what kind of NFL fans to not bring home as boyfriends.
