Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers became the highest-paid player in NFL history when he signed a five-year contract extension in April that will pay him $110 million.

Rodgers won the coveted NFL MVP award in 2011 and, the previous season, led the Packers to a Super Bowl championship and was named the game's MVP.
