Ryan Schilter knows what it feels like to play in a Major League ballpark.

He has stood at home plate sending baseballs soaring over the walls of the dimensions at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati last summer during a hitting session for college players invited to a special workout.

The former University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point catcher recently squatted behind home plate at U.S. Cellular Field during a tryout hosted by the Chicago White Sox on June 3, showing off his defensive skills that made him a Division III All-American. ...
