If anyone wishes to put a nativity on the courthouse lawn, atheists everywhere have lawyers to stop them.
I wonder about school vouchers? If a voucher is granted to a student to attend a private school founded by a religious organization, where is the separation? The government would be funding the education of said student; thus giving the money to a religious organization and depriving the public school system these much-needed funds.
I wonder what Gov. Scott Walker's motives are for taking money away from public schools to give it to the private sector, regardless of the school's origin. How does he benefit?
I do not want one cent of my taxes paying for someone's private education; that's the parents' responsibility. Can't afford it? Get a job, or a second job. We had to.
Find the real reason these children are failing. It's time for everyone to realize some students are just not capable of keeping up with the other students and some just do not want to be there. Use the money wasted on vouchers to fix the problem.
