A recent Gibraltar High School graduate admits that it took a serious car accident just before her sophomore year to start planning for her future.

On Aug. 25, 2010, Afton Greenwood, now 17, was riding in a car with two friends when the driver took a curve too fast and lost control of the car. The vehicle flipped 1 times; Greenwood was ejected through the sunroof and broke her pelvis.

She spent several weeks at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and then several months at home and attending half-days at school due to her injuries. ...
