Yeah, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne is making his return to Steel Bridge Songfest in Sturgeon Bay after a four-year absence, and that always will be a big deal.

But for co-founder and creative director pat mAcdonald, Steel Bridge Songfest is about far more than any one individual, no matter how huge a star he or she is.

Browne, a longtime friend of mAcdonald, headlined the closing shows until 2009 but, because of schedule conflicts, has been unable to return until now, when he again will play the Songfest finale, Sunday's outdoor concert at the Holiday Music Motel. Browne will ...
