Oconto Falls man, 19, dies in ATV crash

A 19-year-old Oconto Falls man died in an ATV crash this week after colliding with a truck in the town of Oconto Falls.

The accident at 1 p.m. Tuesday occurred on Konitzer Road also involved atruck towing a cattle trailer with 14 animals.

The truck and ATV were traveling on the same road when the ATV turned in front of the truck. Both vehicles collided and ended up in a ditch.

A male passenger on the ATV at the time of the accident was transported from the scene with serious injuries. Authorities on Wednesday said they didn't know whether the truck driver was injured.

The Oconto County Sheriff's Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating the incident.
