Students climb and swing at new playground

The school year for the majority of students in the De Pere School District ended Tuesday, June 11.

For many of the 600 children at Foxview Intermediate School, the start of summer vacation may be needed for recovery and relaxation. Physical activity was in abundance the past two weeks before, during and after school on Foxview's new playground.

"This is really a gift for all of you that was given to you by your community," Kris Charles told the students at a dedication ceremony for the playground at the end of the school day Thursday, June 6. ...
