When I see Father's Day cards displayed in stores, I remember all the cards I bought my dad. Some were silly, some were sentimental. But all were sincere.

I don't know how long he saved them, or if he read the verses more than once. With all the cards he received for years, he got plenty with a fish on them. Those made him chuckle.

More than anything, I remember my last fishing day with my dad. We were at Lake Arbutus in the fishing boat. The trolling motor propelled us to the middle of the lake, where the fishing is good. It didn't take us long to catch 13 fish. But it's 26 when filleted away from their thin ...
