Strawberry Fest marks 25 years

The 25th annual Strawberry Fest will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in downtown Waupaca.

Highlights of the festival include a taste of Waupaca in Strawberry Lane Cafe, an art and craft show featuring artisans from across the Midwest, fresh strawberries and strawberry shortcake for sale, Lil's Strawberry Sally & Sam Costume Contest, narrated trolley rides of Waupaca's historic district, a live chainsaw carver, the Waupaca Walks for Children fun walk, live music, a strawberry shortcake eating contest at noon and more. Kid's Alley at Rotary Riverview Park will feature expanded activities for kids and families as well as traditional favorites such as Dizzy D Clown, bounce houses, a petting zoo and the Mighty Waupaca River Duck Race.
