The baby boy whose life story inspired thousands of people, Treyden Kurtzweil of Stratford, died at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. For most of his short life, he battled acute lymphocytic leukemia, an aggressive form of cancer that destroys bone marrow cells.

Through all of the ups and downs, Treyden's mother, Cassie, wrote an almost daily account of his struggles and his accomplishments via social media on the Saving Treyden Facebook page. The number of followers has been close to 25,000, with people posting to the site from across the nation ...
