Repeat offender charged with child neglect

A Sturgeon Bay man was given 90 days in jail and three years probation after pleading no contest for repeatedly neglecting a child, felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, obstructing an officer and repeated possession of marijuana.

Brian M. Lemens, 23, was sentenced Wednesday by Judge Peter Diltz. In addition to the jail and probation terms, Lemens must obtain an alcohol and other drug assessment and counseling, and he is prohibited from using alcohol or controlled substances.
