I lost a good friend in 2011. His name was Don Bowton. Don had an almost unbelievable story to tell of hardship, perseverance, heartbreak and success - a story that would be worthy of a Hollywood movie. His only problem was that he was a part of the Greatest Generation, in which stories like his were common.

Don was an inspiration in many ways, but his greatest impact on my life came through his love of words or, more importantly, their proper use.
