Police respond to fight outside of townhouses

Manitowoc police responded to a report of eight to nine people with guns fighting outside of the Southfield Townhouses, 2502 S. 23rd St, Wednesday evening. One man was arrested and four were cited in the incident.

According to police reports:

Officers were told that the suspects had fled in two vehicles at high speed. Police boxed in one vehicle at 18th and Dewey streets and made a traffic stop at gunpoint. The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man from Racine, exited the vehicle and fled west on Dewey Street. Officers captured the man with the help of a Taser and K-9 unit. Four male passengers ...
