Local students in state piano competition

On May 18, the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association held its state Badger Keyboard Competition for more than 500 young pianists across the state.

The Badger Keyboard Competition is an annual event in which advanced piano students in grades four through 12 across Wisconsin participate. To be eligible for the statewide competition, students must qualify at district festivals. These students represent the student talent and high quality of music instruction.
