The scent of cologne and echoes of "remember when" filled the D.C. Everest Senior High School commons June 5 as green-gowned seniors snapped smartphone photos and waited to walk the commencement stage.

The 410 members of D.C. Everest's 60th graduating class, however, will leave behind a legacy greater than smelling good and looking good in snapshots.

Todd Bohm, assistant principal, said he will remember the Class of 2013 for the seniors' desire to give back to the community in which they live. ...
