A Wausau-area golf course has reopened under new management.

Crane Meadows Golf Course, 8103 Weston Ave., opened for the season April 25 under the management of new full-time course superintendent Mark Brost.

"Mark has been in the golf course industry since 1989 and has made a number of positive changes to the property," said Michelle Knopf, vice president of Intercity State Bank, which owns Crane Meadows. "We had a lot of discussions at length about how to improve the course and also got a lot of great feedback from people who had golfed there before." ...
