It's Fyr Bal Saturday, everyone! Get yourselves downtown and enjoy the day. That day begins with breakfast in the Ephraim Village Hall. Family Centers of Door County is serving homemade waffles from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., $8 for adults, $5 for ages 5 to 17, $2 for ages 2-4 years, and no charge for the little ones.

Make sure you stop by the art booths along the shore from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free sugar cake at the Ephraim Moravian Church booth, and I'll be there, too, along with George Burr and his beautiful paintings. Look for the Bird City Table from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Peninsula State Park will host an ...
