Set mealtimes and bedtimes were a foreign concept to Bear Creek resident Steve Reindl until he and his wife, Michelle, became parents 2 years ago.

With the arrival of daughter Lilly came the realization that Reindl's time was no longer his own - a shocking revelation for the 44-year-old man who lived a carefree life for more than four decades.

"You become, not in a bad way, but you become selfish with your time," said Reindl, who welcomed son Henry to the family five months ago. "That's the big change, but I appreciate so much more what my parents did. And now I'm not only realizing how rewarding, ...
