Neenah-Menasha YMCA is having registration for tackle football leagues on Tuesday. There are leagues for players going into Grades 3-4, Grade 5 and Grade 6. Games are on Saturday mornings at Shattuck Middle School in Neenah and at Maplewood Middle School in Menasha. Games will run from Sept. 7 to Oct. 19. Practices will begin Aug. 15. Grades 3-4 instructional league will play 8-on-8 games. The older leagues will play regular 11-on-11 games. The registration cost per player is $111 for YMCA members and $133 for the general public, plus the $40 candy bars fundraiser. Players must be present for registration. The Appleton Soccer Club Goal Getters U18 traveling team will be holding a tryout for the upcoming fall through spring 2014 season.
