The Trenton Highlights 4-H Club will be hosting their annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday, June 23 at SAGES School in Fox Lake from 3 to 8 p.m. This is the first year the social will be held at SAGES, due to the closing of Trenton Elementary School.

Food available for purchase includes: a variety of hot sandwiches, potato salad, chips, beverages, ice cream and homemade pie. Cheese and milk are also available free of charge.

The Trenton Highlights sponsor the Ice Cream Social as a dairy promotion project and as a fundraiser for the club. In past years, the money raised at the social have allowed the club to help send children to various 4-H camps and support many community service projects.

Just a few of the projects the social has allowed the Trenton Highlights 4-H Club to support include: the purchase of a bowling game for Golden Living Center in Randolph; the hosting of the Community Meal in Beaver Dam; the Reading With Celebrities Day at the Fox Lake Public Library; and the Wisconsin Bookworm Project.

Throughout the years, the Ice Cream Social has become a great time to socialize with others from the community. Door prizes are provided by many area businesses. The public is invited to attend.
