ACUniversity class teaches how to talk when stakes are high

Inexperience, anxiety, awkwardness and frustration can all factor into the fear of initiating a crucial conversation. But that is no excuse! Crucial conversations are a part of the workplace and knowing how to manage them is vital to any professional career. Attend the June 25 ACUniversity class, "Crucial Conversations" and gain expert insight and advice from presenter Sue Roettger of Mid-States Aluminum Corporation.

No matter what your job or where you are in life, you will probably need to have the ability at some time to have a "tough" conversation. Are you able to have that crucial conversation with others in a positive way? This ACU class "Crucial Conversations - How to Talk When the Stakes are High," will give you some basic tools to help you have a successful dialogue even during difficult situations.

ACUniversity, a program of the Association of Commerce, is offering "Crucial Conversations" on Tuesday, June 25, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Fond du Lac YMCA - lower level multi-purpose room located at 90 W. Second St. ACU classes are open to the public, but seating is limited and registration is recommended. Cost for the class is $25 for Association of Commerce members; $35 for non-members.
