Imagine if the simple gift of a treadle sewing machine could transform the life of a young girl, allowing her to learn a skill that will keep her from becoming a victim of human trafficking. Through a collaborative project initiated in 2004 by Sister Stella Storch, OPS, and the Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, that is exactly what is happening in the village of Bukoba, Tanzania.
