Lucas, Janie and Ellen Hodny signed up for the Summer Reading Program at the Campbellsport Public Library on Monday, June 10. The library encourages citizens of all ages to spend time reading this summer by offering chances to win great prizes. Call 533-8534 for more information.
? Organic Farming: Kelly Kiefer, a Campbellsport native, and owner operator of Three Sisters Community Farm, will give a short presentation about her work as a small farmer engaged in growing food organically and developing a community supported farm model. This event will take place at the Campbellsport Public Library on Monday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Kiefer will also share her perspective on the benefits of buying locally and naturally grown foods; and provide resources for those interested in eating locally grown food. Samples of Kelly's produce will be served at the presentation. This is a free program. Registration is not required.
? Gym Games: On Wednesday, June 26, kids are invited to the library to play gym games with Eden Elementary School teacher Ms. Salm. She will be playing Jurassic Park-themed games at 10:30 a.m., with the younger children. The older kids are invited at 1 p.m. to play games that move dirt. These programs are free and open to everyone. Registration is not requited.
? Summer Reading Program: There is plenty of time to register for the Summer Reading program. People of all ages are invited to participate in the program. Stop in at the library for details and to sign-up.
? Friday Walking: The Roaming Readers Walking Club will be meeting every Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Campbellsport Public Library. The group will walk for approximately 30 minutes down village sidewalks. Anyone is welcome to join us for some fresh air and exercise. This is a free weekly drop-in program.
? Family Fun Night: Mark your calendars, the Annual Family Fun Night is being held on July 22 starting at 5 p.m. Professional juggler/comedian Jason Huneke will be here to entertain people of all ages.
