Legion baseball roundup: Ash Port's Imig pitches no-hitter

Zak Imig tossed a five-inning no-hitter in his Ash Port debut Saturday afternoon, and Ash Port erupted for eight runs in the fourth inning to get a 9-1 victory over Escanaba, Mich., in the Green Bay Father's Day tournament.

Cole Hanson went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Hunter Pahl went 3-for-3 with a run scored to lead the Ash Port attack.

Green Bay Southwest played a trio of games Saturday, beating Kaukauna 4-0, losing to Menominee, Mich., 2-1, and then defeating Pulaski 7-1 to advance to the winners' bracket of the tournament. ...
